About this cartoon: In his final weeks in office, Donald Trump handed out many presidential pardons to shady cronies, and the Medal of Freedom to major donors and bigoted agitators, cheapening the value of both. It was almost surprising that he didn't directly pardon himself or his immediate family members (lawyers had warned him of negative legal ramifications had he done so).
